Welcome to the harrow center
Hi, I’m Griffin Harrow, a Licensed Psychotherapist in NC and FL. My desire to work with clients struggling with OCD was born out of my own journey of recovery.
I reside in Asheville, NC and have worked in the field of behavioral health for eight years. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from American University and my Master’s degree in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. I received training from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in Exposure and Response Prevention for the treatment of Adult and Pediatric OCD. I am also trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). Additionally, I have extensive training in ACT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing. My experience includes extensive work with a broad range of populations and diagnoses including, children, teens, and adults struggling with OCD, anxiety, Panic Disorder, suicidal ideation, and psychiatric crisis.
My approach
Working with clients to heal themselves from anxiety-related conditions is more than just my job, it is my calling. I invite my clients to see that no problem is too big or too small to seek help. I work with all forms of OCD, including but not limited to ROCD, POCD, SF-OCD, HOCD, and intrusive thoughts related to harm. I utilize Exposure Response Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and create individualized treatment plans for individuals and families.
